Rub a little dirt on it. Walk it off.

Exactly! I got your legs RIGHT HERE!

I got someone's legs!

That logo.
Of course I was half expecting that you would find a good use for it sooner or later.
But damn, that was fast.
lirvilas 14th Nov 2019, 7:30 PM edit delete reply
It's slick and I like it so much I blew it to bits!

Hmm. The "get low" strategy might help you avoid being immediately pierced by shrapnel, but the concussive blast from being that close to an explosion that size would likely kill you. I hope MJ and company have good medical plans. ;)

Perhaps you weren’t aware that a significant portion of American health care is still associated with the Church (or churches)... it’s one of the reasons abortion as a political issue is so explosive.
Thracecius 15th Nov 2019, 11:02 AM edit delete reply
Err, that might be part of the issue, but it's certainly not the only reason why abortion is a politcal hot potatoe in the USA.

Is that -MAGIC- I see at the bottom of Panel 3?
lirvilas 14th Nov 2019, 5:44 PM edit delete reply
I don't know what the hell you're talking about. That's pretty obviously an artifact from my production technique and totally NOT a glowy emergency portal thing.

I will edit the page to remove any ambiguity.

edit: page edited, note the difference.
Thracecius 15th Nov 2019, 11:03 AM edit delete reply
Oh, you mean that it looks like pixels now instead of magic motie things? Yeah, sure, I see the difference. ;)

Well, bits of men, at least. :D

You literally ended the chapter in a bang... I see what you did there.

Mad props to you. I'm catching up and this is a great ride. Action, intrigue, gags. Feels like a road movie at times and the characters bouncing off one another is great. Not taking anything away from Valkeries, but I think you've surpassed yourself here in regards to it.
lirvilas 6th Jan 2020, 9:08 PM edit delete reply
Eh, this is a more coherent premise than "Tona does bad shit and feels even worse about it" and it's got a tighter cast of characters, (and a faster production schedule!) so it's easy for me to get my very beautiful totally normal sized hands around it.

In retrospect maybe I drop the humor too much in the upcoming chapters; I'm taking some abrupt turns back towards it in the most recent pages so I'm interested in seeing whether your assessment above holds true after this thing's complete in roughly early February.
Cooke 6th Jan 2020, 9:57 PM edit delete reply
Well, after catching up, it definitely takes a more somber affair but, you know, it fits for what the story needed. I'm sure there's some criticism I could give about the clarity of the overall scheme that got MJ and Chuck onto the wild ride. To me though it's like the suitcase in that DeNiro flick, Ronin. I don't care what's in it, I'm just enjoying the show.
