Damn it Prof, give me a sign.

It is hard to walk this path alone.

Granted, there's some pretty cool signposts along this path. Case in point, this random (but much appreciated!) art of MJ from MST3KFan:

Thanks man!

You know, I'm thinking there is a need for a Stonecastle vs Wildebees story. If necessary I'll do it myself 😀

I have difficulty imagining offhand what horrible thing would have to happen to set those two seriously against each other. A case of mistaken alignment, or someone doing the old, "Let's you and him fight," trick on them may work I guess, but I would hope one or both of them would see through such a trick.

@Jay042: As cool as that sounds, I agree with AC that there seems to be at least no "straightforward" reason why they would fight each other.
However, if you have a good idea for setting up such a scenario (or just want to do cool - and not necessarily canon - fan art with this premise), be my guest! ;-)

That being said, over in my comic, Wildebees will return in a planned future chapter. I would like this to be even the very next chapter - but as of now it is still depending on certain factors if this will indeed actually be the next chapter.

I think a tremendously violent and likely fatal interaction could be generated if you stare hard enough at the fan art on yesterday's page and this page of Childhood's End.

But I don't think that anyone involved is interested in driving a lance through that, at least not in this decade.

Fun fact: When it came to decide what livery to put on the mechanical dragon in the fan art, ToyCo was indeed an option that I pondered. (Another one was Maerc.)
In the end though, I figured that I should make it analogous to the drones from earlier: The label says that it's from Aegis, but the truth may perhaps not be that simple.

I'm not Prof, and I can only guess, but perhaps the kind of sign he would give you is something like this:

And okay, Jim Gordon probably didn't do the attack on the Cardinal if he didn't know what scum the Cardinal's self-proclaimed friend is. He might be what this crew needs in both skill and talent to try something similar against Maerc though.

And to MST3KFan: Thank you for a sane and even-tempered looking Stonecastle, we probably won't get to see that much while she's hanging around Chuck. :)

Waaaiiit a minute...

That "cracked" speech bubble style looks familiar...

Is this guy... who I think it is...?

If so, your cryptic response to my comment back here suddenly makes much more sense!
(It was puzzling to me at first, then I convinced myself that you were talking about MJ in the first paragraph...)

Re: "Cracked"

You understand how if Jim Gordon and Chuck Braun laid all their cards on the table this might be a problem?

So then, why is Gordon so happy to be here?

His hair certainly looks familiar, and the sunglasses remind me of someone too.
Chuck may want to frisk this guy to see if he has any stabby-stabby devices secreted about his body...

Is it inappropriate to gush about fan art of one's OC on someone else's comic? 'cause that expression is priceless.

Ha! I'm sure it would make MST3Kfan quite pleased if you mentioned as much in the original thread or via PM.
