Too much exposition, too much character development, nobody reads that shit... let's see if I can put this thing in the metaphorical ditch and get a gunfight going in ~5 pages.

Have a great weekend!

Oh yay, on top of drone strikes we get double agents. Perhaps even more fun from the mud of low intensity warfare is still to come? I wonder just which market tested, best practices the industry professionals will import to America in this story.

The overly rich are often happy to give their money to whatever convinces them they can live forever, make more money, or do something exclusively edgy that only they can do.

And then the pleebs gaze starry eyed and want to live their own version of what the rich have. :/

Sorry if that's super negative...I mean...not EVERYONE is like that. But it's funny how much people idolize, idealize, or envy the *possible* interests of the culty wealthy. I really can't understand why else anyone cares about people like the Kardashians (? Don't care if its spelled wrong) or whatever is popular at the moment.

I quit a job partly because my bosses were all in some crazy cult and trying to get the staff to join up o_O More money than sense :/

The smart superrich do their utmost to stay off the radar, so as to avoid attracting the attention of tax collectors, psychos, and/or the guillotine.

The Kardashians are not among the superrich. However, on a related but separate note, the ethos "if you show up on TV, you've failed" definitely applies to that degenerate tribe.

Yeah...as much as I find quoting Thatcher distasteful, I do like the quote that goes something like:

"Being powerful is like being a woman: if you have to tell someone, you're not." (I am too lazy to look up the actual quote.)
